ReefKeeper is an aquarium management platform designed to help reef hobbyists track and maintain their tanks in one centralized system. The application replaces spreadsheets and scattered notes with structured tools for managing livestock, equipment, water parameters, maintenance schedules, and photos of each tank.
The platform focuses on making routine aquarium care easier by providing built-in scheduling, parameter tracking, and asset management. Users can log readings such as temperature, pH, and salinity, visualize trends through charts, and receive reminders for maintenance tasks like water changes and filter replacements.
ReefKeeper also integrates with reef-pi controllers, allowing automated equipment data—such as temperature and sensor readings—to flow directly into the application for deeper monitoring and analysis of aquarium health.
The long-term vision for the project is to provide a complete ecosystem for aquarium enthusiasts, including a web platform, mobile applications, and integrations with common reef automation tools so hobbyists can monitor and manage their tanks from anywhere.
